With Bhoot Failing To Live Up To Expectations, Do You Think There’s A Dearth Of Good Horror Films In Bollywood?
Karan Johar's recent horror flick Bhoot didn't set the cash registers ringing and even failed to impress critics. Do you think it's high time our filmmaker restrategise their moves when it comes to churning out good content in the horror genre?
When Ram Gopal Verma made horror films like Bhoot, Darna Mana Hai or even Vaastu Shastra, the audiences had sleepless nights. But of late, we see less horror films being made and those that are created, don’t sustain enough scares to pull the audience to cinema halls.
The last memorable horror film was Stree, but again it was a horror comedy, not an out-and-out horror film. Do you think our filmmakers need to restrategise their moves when it comes to making good horror films that could be at par with their Hollywood counterparts?
