When Sushant Singh Rajput Enacted DDLJ's Iconic Palat Scene With Kedarnath Co-Star Sara Ali Khan - Throwback Video

It is a well-known fact that the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput is a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan. He even once revealed in an interview that the sole reason to become an actor was SRK as he was his inspiration since SSR's childhood. As we speak of it, we came across a throwback video of Sushant and Sara Ali Khan who had graced on Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 13 show to promote their film Kedarnath. The video not only showed his charm but also proved his acting mettle which is simply amazing.
In the video, Salman Khan who was the host BB13 asked him to mouth a dialogue of King Khan or maybe even enact a scene as he is SRK's huge fan. Like everyone's favourite, Rajput chose to enact the iconic 'palat' scene from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge with his co-star Sara. Seeing his acting prowess, Salman seemed completely impressed with him as he said, 'Very nice yaar.'
During the promotions of Raabta, the Chhichhore actor was quoted saying, “I have grown up on Shah Rukh’s films and I’m a big fan. In fact, he is the only actor I went to a set to meet, but unfortunately couldn’t.” In fact, in the film, the makers had also put together Shah Rukh’s look from the iconic film “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”, a jacket and a hat and when the team told him that they were including an SRK step, Rajput immediately came on board. He had said, "I like how we were able to include the ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’ homage in our other song."
Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 after hanging himself in his Bandra residence. According to various reports, the actor was suffering from depression for the past six months before taking this drastic step. After Sushant's tragic demise, Shah Rukh Khan had penned down a tribute for him which read, "He loved me so much...I will miss him so much. His energy, enthusiasm and his full happy smile. May Allah bless his soul and my condolences to his near and dear ones. This is extremely sad....and so shocking!!"
