Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is one of the most talented actresses that we have in the industry. The Neerja star often grabs the limelight on social media for her controversial statements or throwback videos from her movies or ads in the past. Sonam recently came under the radar of netizens for her old dance performance at the 2009 IIFA which was held in Macau. Back then, the actress got brutally trolled for her dance moves at the star-studded awards.

This old clip of Sonam dancing on the IIFA stage has now once again gone viral. In the video, she could be seen wearing a heavy red and silver-colored lehenga with jewellery. She grooved to the peppy number ‘Sasural Genda Phool,’ from her movie Delhi 6. Netizens flocked to the comments section of the post to share their hilarious reactions to Sonam’s dance. Some even took nasty digs at her. No wonder he didn’t cast her again.” Another said, “The background dancers have more energy than her.” One of the netizens mocked, “5 year old me performing at school function.”

Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor, who recently embraced motherhood, is making her comeback to films with Blind, which is an official remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name. Directed by Shome Makhija, the crime thriller has been delayed and its release date is yet to be announced. Besides this she also has Shashanka Ghosh’s directorial ‘Battle of Bittora’ with Farhan Akhtar in the pipeline.
