Actor Madhuri Dixit has some incredible films under her belt, such as Hum Aapke Hai Kaun, Devdas, Saajan, Tezaab, Beta and many more. She was one of the best actresses back in the 90s. Among numerous accolades, Dixit was even honoured by Padma Shri which pretty much establishes her position in the film industry. However, in a throwback interview, Madhuri Dixit revealed that her kids thought her acting in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Koyla was funny. Well, once her kids were watching Koyla when she was not at home. Later, when she returned, she found a note on the computer asking her ‘why she was acting funny in the film.’
That’s not it, in fact, they also imitate her from a scene from Gulaab Gang. Madhuri said the scene where she raises her arm and says a dialogue in the film has always been mimicked by their kids in the house. Madhuri’s kids not only react to her films but they even critique her scripts as well. In another interview with Pinkvilla, she said that while they haven't really watched a lot of her movies, they do give her expert advice whenever needed. She said, “Not that they have watched a lot of my films now, they haven't, but if I do something, and if they have to criticise it, they do that. They comment on it, tell me if it is cheesy, if it is not right.”
“Even with Candle, my son suggested a few changes, and they liked the emotion in the song. They really liked the song and they said it is looking good. They gave their expert advice. Nowadays the kids know so much, they are so well-read. They have so much information; they talk to me about scripts as well. Sometimes I tell them that even I don't think so much about the script as much as they do. So, it is really nice,” she added.
On the professional front, Madhuri Dixit was last seen in Dharma Productions' multi-starrer Kalank. ALSO READ: Madhuri Dixit Birthday Special: 5 Films Remembered Best For Actress' Dance
