When Katrina Kaif Opened Up About Salman Khan Working With Girls Who Look Like Her: ‘Isn’t That Flattering? I Think That’s So Sweet’
In an old interview, Katrina Kaif spoke about Salman Khan working with actresses who look similar to her!
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif make for the most loved on-screen couples in Bollywood. In fact, they are adored for their both on and off-screen chemistry. Salman and Katrina have worked together in several movies like Partner, Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Bharat, and more. The Kick actor has also launched many actresses like Zarine Khan and Sneha Ullal who looked like Kat. In an old interview, the actress had opened up about Salman working with actresses bearing an uncanny resemblance to her.
In 2008, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Katrina was asked if Salman worked with Zarine in the film Veer just because she looked like her. The actor in her reply stated that she found it ‘flattering’ and ‘sweet.’ She also called Zarine ‘lovely’ and mentioned that she did not look like her. In fact, Katrina helped Zarine with her make-up during her screen test for her debut film ‘Veer.’ The Bang Bang actress was quoted saying, “Isn’t that flattering? I think that’s so sweet. I even helped her with her make-up during her screen test. She’s a lovely girl and I hope she does very well… though I don’t think she looks like me. But if Salman misses me and wants to work with girls who look like me, that’s so sweet.”
Katrina and Salman were first seen together in the 2005 film Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and post this they went on to team up for many exciting films. They were also rumored to be dating each other for many years but they never confirmed their relationship.
Both the actors will next be seen in the upcoming actioner Tiger 3, which is directed by Maneesh Sharma. The movie is a series consisting of action spy films and is the third installment of the Tiger film franchise. Bankrolled by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, Tiger 3 will hit the theatres next year.
