When Karan Johar Was Insulted by A Hollywood Celebrity...

Karan Johar just narrated an incident that’s both funny
and embarrassing at the same time! It so happened that a couple of years ago
when Karan met Woody Allen, he asked for his autograph. That wasn’t for himself
but for his dear friend Niranjan Iyengar. Much to his surprise, Woody Allen
plainly refused to give him an autograph.
So, when KJo saw Hugh Jackman at the Melbourne Film
Festival recently, he first decided to approach him and talk to him as he had
met him once at FICCI, a few years ago. However,
he soon recalled the Woody Allen incident that took place a few years ago and
decided that he wouldn’t want to be insulted once again. So in his head he
thought, “Meri bezati honewali hai... So instead of me going and being dissed
by Hugh Jackman.. I did the math and I said to myself, ‘I don’t want to him’.”
Does @karanjohar become tongue tied when he meets big stars?! #WoodyAllen and @RealHughJackman got nothing on him. https://t.co/MNsgENWEYw pic.twitter.com/djy8ELrQmK

Now isn’t that hilarious?
On the work front, Karan Johar is currently working on
his next film, titled Brahmastra. KJo announced his next big production
venture, Brahmastra, yesterday on social media. Karan tweeted, "A TRILOGY
...A FANTASY ADVENTURE....A LABOUR OF LOVE.....”BRAHMĀSTRA (sic).” Brahmastra
will star Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles, and
will be a trilogy. This is the first time Ranbir and Alia are paired opposite
each other in a film. It shall be interesting to see how these three superstars
will make a mark with such a huge franchise. The first among the three parts is
set to hit theatres on August 15, 2019.
