Actress Hansika Motwani started her career in the entertainment industry as a child artist. She became a household name after she essayed the role of Karuna in Shaka Laka Boom Boom. She also went on to star in Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta starrer Koi Mil Gaya. As she made her debut as an adult in the film Aap Kaa Surroor (2007), her physical transformation raised many eyebrows. Reports stated that her mother, who is a dermatologist, gave her hormonal injections at the age of 16 so that she would grow u fast and join the entertainment industry.

Reacting the same, during her wedding drama series, Love Shaadi Drama, Hansika dismissed the claims and stated that such rumours are a part and parcel of an actor’s life. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she said, “They wrote such crap when I was 21, you know what I am talking about… If I could have taken it that time, I can take it this time. Crap was written about you too, everyone wrote that I have taken injections to grow up. Mona Motwani, in the same episode, also shed light on the matter and called out the fake reports. She explained, “If that is true, then I must be richer than Tata, Birla, some millionaire. If that Hansika's then I would have said, 'Maine apni beti ko diya hai, tum bhi aao, aa kar apni haddi baddi karvao. What I am surprised about is that people who write this, unke pass dimaag naam ki cheez nahi hoti hai kya. For the unversed, Hansika Motwani got married to her longtime boyfriend Sohael Khaturiya in a wedding ceremony that screamed royalty. They promised each other a lifetime of togetherness at the 150-year-old palace Mundota Fort and Palace, Jaipur on December 4, 2022.
