He became a household name in the country after his portrayal of Choocha in Fukrey. His on-screen bond with Pulkit Samrat in the film was adored by the audience. Ahead of the release of his film ‘Wild Wild Punjab,’ he left his fans concerned as he posted a photo of a billboard where he announced breaking up with his girlfriend.
The photo that is now going viral on X (formerly known as Twitter) reads, “Vaishali, I’m Over You. Not Yours, Khanna.” Sharing the photo, Varun wrote, “Chilla Chilla Ke Saari Duniya ko bata diya!! (heartbreak emoji).” His ‘Wild Wild Punjab’ co-stars Jassie Gill and Manjot Singh re-shared the post and reacted to it. While the former wrote, “Ek ek baddie se badla lega hamara Khanna,” the latter asked, “Billboard lagane ke paise hai tere paas, petrol bharwane ke nahi hai??”

Well, it is certain the posts were about their upcoming film ‘Wild Wild Punjab’ which is all set to stream on Netflix. Co-starring Sunny Singh and Patralekha, the film centers around a group of friends who set out on a break-up trip. Announcing that the film will be releasing on July 10, Netlix India captioned the new poster, “Chaar dost, ek lamba safar, aur ex ko “I am over you” bolne ki koshish!
