Bollywood actor Salman Khan has impressed the audience for more than 35 years with his versatile performances. His journey from a chocolate boy to an action hero has been impressive. Having garnered a huge fanbase over the years, he is one of the most sought-after celebrities in the Hindis entertainment industry. Despite constantly receiving threats, in the recent years, he resides in the Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai, along with is parents. In an old interview, he had revealed why.

During an interaction with Farah Khan on her chat show Tere Mere Beech Mein (2009), he opened upa bout his decision to stay with his parents and not shift to a bigger space. The curious filmmaker asked him why, despite being “the world’s superstar” and earning in crores, he lives in “the one-bedroom-hall.” She went on to point out that he did so because his apartment in situated just below his mother’s house. Confirming her query, the 58-year-old actor said, “Yes. The Tees Maar Khan filmmaker went on to ask, “Do you have a security feeling that you are close to your mom?” Salman went on to admit that he feels at peace when he can relax with his parents after a tough day at work. Over the past few months, Khan has been making the headlines for gun shots being fired at his apartment and receiving threats from Lawerence Bishnoi’s gang. For those who don’t know, two individuals on a bike open fired five rounds of bullets Khan’s residence in Bandra, Galaxy Apartments, on April 14 at 5 am. After the case was registered, the police officials arrested six individuals out of which Anuj Thapan, allegedly committed suicide in a police lock-up on May 1. The officials recently arrested a 25-year-old YouTuber from Rajasthan, Banwarilal Laturlal Gujar, for threatening to kill the actor.

On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick. He also has Vishu Vardhan and Karan Johar’s The Bull in the pipeline. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
