WHAT! Priyanka Chopra Was So Close To Lose Her Child Malti? Actress Admits ‘Not Being So-Chilled Mommy’
Priyanka Chopra in a new interview speaks about how close she was to losing her daughter Malti many times
Global icon Priyanka Chopra welcomed her first child, daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas with her husband Nick Jonas last year. She became a mother via surrogate on Jan 15, 2022, however, Malti was kept in NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) for 100 days post her birth since she was born prematurely. PeeCee has been very expressive about her undying love for her daughter. In a new interview, she spoke about how close she was to losing her daughter many times.
Speaking with Elle Magazine USA, Priyanka mentioned she doesn’t even know how she will ever discipline Malti. The doting mom was quoted as saying, “I don’t even know how I’ll ever discipline her (Malti) because I just don’t have it in me. I was so close to losing her so many times that she can get away with anything and I just want to see her happy. I want her to be the happiest. She’s a super smiley, happy baby, and that’s all my goal is—to see her joyous.”
The Baywatch actress even admitted not being a so-chilled mommy like her mother Madhu. The actress recalled that during her childhood days, she used to ask her mom to chill down but now that she has embraced motherhood, she fails to understand why mothers can ‘rip apart’ people when they hurt their kids. Priyanka added, “I was like, ‘Mom, chill out. What are you doing?’ Now I get it. I would take someone out.” ALSO READ: Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas Share FIRST PHOTO Of Their Newborn Daughter; Couple Says ‘After 100 Days In NICU, Our Little Girl Is Finally Home’
