Rajkummar Rao is an actor par excellence and there is no denying that. He has proved his versatility as an actor with every film he has done. Needless to say, Rao has carved a successful niche for himself in Bollywood. But, just like every superstar, he has his fair share of struggles and rejections. Early, in his career, he was rejected for auditions for weird reasons like for his eyebrows, tall height, and others. Shocked right! The actor himself made this surprising revelation in a recent interview. 

Speaking with Bollywood Bubble, the Stree actor opened up about facing rejection in the industry during the initial phase of his career. Rajkummar was quoted saying, “I was told so many things. You are not tall enough, your built is not right, your eyebrows are not in a certain shape, and very weird things. And I was like what, what about acting? The 37-year-old actor also expressed his gratitude to his debut film director Dibakar Banerjee for recognizing his talent and giving him chance to work in 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha', which marked his foray into Bollywood. Post this, Rao was unstoppable and went on to deliver many blockbuster movies like, Kai Po Che!, Aligarh, Trapped, Newton, and Badhaai Do to name a few. 

 The actor will next be seen in the upcoming film ‘HIT: The First Case’ which releases tomorrow, July 15. Helmed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra in a pivotal role. HIT will lock horns with Taapsee Pannu’s sports biopic Shabaash Mithu at the box office.
