WATCH: Salman Khan’s Marathi Song, Gacchi From FU- Friendship Unlimited

For all those who were eagerly waiting to see the song Gacchi from Mahesh Manjerekar’s FU- Friendship Unlimited which has been sung by Salman Khan, here’s good news. The song from FU- Friendship Unlimited is out and it features Kashmira Shah in a scintillating avatar.

If the tune of this song is reminding you of the iconic number- Panchi Banu Udti Phiru, then let us tell you that it’s an official recreation of the cult song from Chori Chori (1956).

Reportedly, Salman Khan recorded the song
in 45 minutes only. While talking about Salman Khan to a section of media, music director of the song, Vishal Mishra had said, “Salman’s grasping power is great. I was amazed when he completed the recording of the song, Gacchi, in 45 minutes flat.”

The movie is directed by renowned actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar and stars Sairat fame actor Akash Thosar in the lead.

The film is based on the four friends and reportedly, Madhuri Desai, Sata Majrekar and Sanskruti Balgude will also be seen in this film along with Akash.

This will be Aakash’s second film after Sairat. Sairat became a cult film in Marathi cinema, the young crowd loved it and it has been a dream come true for Akash Thosar. The film was made on a low budget of Rs 4 crore and later went on to become the highest grossing Marathi film of 2016 with a box-office collection of Rs 60 crore approximately.

Mahesh Manjrekar and Salman Khan go back way long. They have done films like Jai Ho, Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard and Wanted together. Salman Khan attended an event along with Mahesh Manjrekar, where he mentioned that he will be singing a Marathi song for the first time in the latter’s next directorial FU-Friendship Unlimited.

Mahesh had said, “We are friends beyond our professional commitments. I respect Salman Khan a lot.”
