Was SRK's Mannat Vandalism A Promotional Act For Fan?
Shah Rukh Khan was not too happy about his fans vandalising his bungalow Mannat and spraying graffiti all over its walls (Fans Paint Their Love For SRK!, July 8). Honestly, our heart went out to him then.

But wait, what's this we noticed?

If you look closely, the messages written on his wall included 'See you on 15th' and it was signed by someone by the name of Gaurav.

So what, you ask.

Interestingly, the very next day, Yash Raj Films released the teaser of SRK's Fan. Yeah, the same film where King Khan plays a double role - that of a superstar and an ardent fan.

At the end of the teaser, the film's release date has been announced as April 15. Suddenly, the 'See you on 15' makes sense, doesn't it?

What's more, in the teaser, one hears a voiceover "Duniya ke sabse bade superstar ka sabse bada fan. Aa gaya Gaurav." Ummm, wasn't the message on the wall signed by a Gaurav? Coincidence much?

So was the Mannat episode a genuine case of vandalism? Or was it simply a new promotional strategy? Only SRK can tell us that.
