WAR: Hrithik Roshan Wouldn’t Have Signed The Film If There Was No Tiger Shroff
Before signing WAR, Hrithik Roshan had kept a condition in front of the film’s director that he sign Tiger Shroff too for the project
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff teaming up for an out and out action film was always a dream for their fans. And call it a miracle or what but, in no time, the two were roped in alongside each other in YRF’s action-thriller WAR, the trailer of which was recently unveiled and it opened to a positive response. Right from an intriguing storyline to all the breathtaking visuals and bang on action scenes; everything about the film has only made fans’ wait a little more difficult. Well, as much as Hrithik Roshan has shined, one can’t deny that Tiger Shroff, too, has managed to leave a mark with his convincing act. In a nutshell, WAR won’t be the same without both Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. And Hrithik Roshan thinks exactly the same!
In fact, Hrithik Roshan, in an interview with Pinkvilla revealed that when Siddharth Anand (director of the film) had approached him, he signed on the dotted lines only on one condition. “Finally I found the script and I had only one thing to say to Sid and Adi. I told them I'm doing WAR only if Tiger Shroff is there in this film. I know for a fact that only he will be able to stand in front of me and make me feel like s**t,” revealed the Super 30 actor. He added, “I will have to be at my best to even be at par with Tiger and I don't think I'm at par with him even then. That's a good thing actually. Both ways, we will keep inspiring each other to do better. He is absolutely phenomenal. He's going to stay here for 50 years, he will be untouchable." We agree, Hrithik!
Meanwhile, WAR also stars Vaani Kapoor in a pivotal role and is slated to hit the big screens on October 2, 2019.
