Vivek Oberoi Apologises And Deletes Aishwarya Rai-Salman Khan Tweet
Vivek Oberoi created hysteria, yesterday, as he tweeted a meme mocking Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's relationship with Salman Khan and him. Vivek had compared the election results to the chronology of Aishwarya's relationship, which also had reference to Abhishek Bachchan and Aaradhya.

From Sonam Kapoor to many social media users, Vivek was highly condemned for his tweet. Till yesterday, Vivek maintained that he would have said sorry if he did something wrong but according to him, it was a harmless post. However, this morning, the Krishh actor took to Twitter and has apologised. He has even deleted the tweet. Vivek wrote, "Even if one woman is offended by my reply to the meme, it calls for remedial action. Apologies tweet deleted."

Vivek also tweeted, "Sometimes what appears to be funny and harmless at first glance to one, may not be so to others. I have spent the last 10 years empowering more than 2000 underprivileged girls, I cant even think of being disrespectful to any woman ever."

However, we wonder what's changed overnight? Vivek who was of the opinion that he has not done anything wrong, apologised for it with sunrise. Is it the criticism which he has been receiving for his tweet or has Vivek genuinely slept over it and realised his mistake?

Yesterday, Sonam Kapoor had reacted on Vivek's tweet and called it "disgusting and classless". This comment didn't go down well with Vivek and while talking to IANS, the actor said, "React a little on things like this, don't make it political please. This is life. People move on. Not a single obscene comment was there. I am ever ready to say sorry. But tell me what wrong have I done? The story happened and it's everywhere in media for ages. So it's nothing like I am claiming something. I just forwarded it. Let woman commission come. I will also clarify. How much have people like Sonam Kapoor who criticized me worked for women empowerment? I am working for the empowerment of abused women for ages. Sonam was more busy with her makeover."

Well, now that Vivek has apologised, let's see if he comes out of the trouble or continues to be condemned for his act.
