Vijay Galani Passes Away: Veer Producer Dies In London, Was Suffering From Cancer -Report
The news of 'Veer' producer Vijay Galani's death has shocked the entertainment industry. He passed away on Wednesday night in London. According to a report in ETimes, Galani had travelled to the UK a couple of days back. He was detected with cancer and had flown out of India for his treatment. His family is devastated. The details of the funeral are not yet known. The film producer is now survived by his wife, son and daughter.

Veer was a successful producer in Bollywood. His filmography as a producer includes Suryavanshi, Achanak, Ajnabee, Salman Khan starrer Veer, The Power and more.

His best friend Rajat Rawail, who was his colleague at IFTPC (Indian Film and Television Producers Council, confirmed the sad news and told ETimes, "It's a big tragedy. I used to talk to him almost daily. Just a couple of days back, he told me that he has now got almost completely cured and will be making arrangements to return to Mumbai very soon. He further described Galani as a charismatic personality and revealed the irony that his son had landed in Mumbai just about an hour ago. "His son Pratik was with him in London. The hospitalisation period was over and Vijay had returned home. He was supposed to fly back to India a few days later. The son has taken a U-turn and is flying back to London," he added.

The details of his funeral are not yet known.
