Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri are gearing up for the release of their upcoming movie, "Bad Newz." However, just days before its release, a report by Bollywood Hungama has claimed that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has ordered the deletion of three kissing scenes involving the two characters. The scenes in question are reportedly 9, 10, and 8 seconds long, respectively. The entertainment portal noted that the censor board's cut list specifies that the "visual of lip-lock be modified." It remains to be seen how the filmmakers will adjust these scenes to comply with the board's directives. As of the report's publishing, News18 Showsha was unable to verify these claims. In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, Vicky Kaushal revealed that "Bad Newz" had several working titles before settling on its current name, including "Raula," "Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam," and even "Good Newwz 2." In another interview, Vicky shared his thoughts on the film, saying, “For me, shooting this film was like home because Anand Tiwari and Karan Johar, the people I worked with, exuded that feel-good vibe and the script was very good. I found the concept of the film new, and the kind of humour it has, even though I haven’t explored the comedy genre that much as an actor.”

Vicky Kaushal has also been in the spotlight for his dance moves in the song "Tauba Tauba" and his sizzling chemistry with Triptii Dimri in the intimate song "Jaanam." These performances have generated significant buzz and anticipation for the film. Directed by Anand Tiwari, "Bad Newz" also features Neha Dhupia and is scheduled to hit theaters on July 18. The controversy over the deleted scenes and the unique premise of the film have only added to the anticipation, making it one of the most talked-about releases of the season. Fans are eager to see how the filmmakers handle the censorship modifications and how the storyline unfolds on the big screen.
