Veteran Actor Tabassum Recovers And Tests Negative For COVID-19; Son Rubbishes Rumours Of Her Suffering From Alzheimer's
Veteran actor Tabassum, who had tested positive for the novel coronavirus a few days ago, has recovered and tested negative for the virus. She has been discharged from the hospital and is back home. The same was confirmed by her son, actor-filmmaker Hoshang Govil. He shared that she has beaten the COVID-19 virus and returned as a warrior. He further thanked everyone for their support and love.

"With the love and blessings of her fans, Tabassum Govil has tested negative and returned home. She has beaten the Covid-19 virus and returned a warrior.... Thank you for your constant support. God is great," he shared.

Earlier, talking about her condition, Hoshang Govil had shared, "She wasn't feeling well, her blood pressure was a bit high so we got her tested for Covid-19 and it turned out she was positive. But she wasn't severely affected. She was asymptomatic. But to be on a safer side, we got her admitted." On the other end, a picture of frail Tabassum has been doing rounds on the internet stating that she is suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

Hoshang addressed the rumours and said, "I am disgusted that people can spread her picture and start a rumour that she has Alzheimer's." He called the rumour 'absolutely fake' and further added that 'she has got no heart disease, no diabetes.' Tabassum is a popular film actress and a talk show host. She began her career as a child artist and later went on to carve a niche for herself in the industry.
