Veteran Actor Rishi Kapoor Finally Reveals The Reason His Cancer Treatment Took So Long To Complete

Veteran actor and legend, Rishi Kapoor is currently in New York where his treatment for cancer is going on. Though the actor has confirmed that he is fine now and only follow ups are required, he revealed why it took almost a year for him to be away from home.

It’s been long that the actor Rishi Kapoor has shared his views about his treatment.  The actor has been receiving his cancer treatment in New Year for almost a year now. The actor in a recent interview to Hindustan Times said, “The procedure is long and tedious and one needs immense patience which unfortunately is not one of my virtues.” Since the time the news of his cancer diagnosis broke, everybody, from his fans to Bollywood celebrities have been sharing their concerns regarding his health. Many celebrities have also.made sure they paid both Rishi and Neetu a visit if in New York.

His wife and immediate family have been by his side all through the treatment, which is one of the reasons he is recovering fast. Kapoor has also confirmed that  his Cancer does not exist anymore and is recuperating at a good pace. Once he is done with the treatment, the actor will be back in action to fulfill his work commitments. In a recent interview the actor shared his eager desire to be back on camera once again.


The actor further said that when he resumes he wants to work with new generation actors as there’s lot more to learn from them. This shows how keen he is about his work and is still hungry to learn new things.  He further adds that he want to work with new age actors who are brilliant at their craft.

After completion of the treatment he’ll bounce back with more energy but he doesn’t wish to rush into things. We certainly hope that our evergreen chocolate boy returns as a healthy horse.
