Veteran Actor Ramesh Deo Passes Away Due To Heart Attack At 93; Madhuri Dixit, Urmila Matondkar And Others Mourn His Demise
Veteran actor Ramesh Deo died of a heart attack on Wednesday at a hospital in Mumbai. He was 93. His filmmaker son Abhinay Deo told PTI, "He passed away due to a heart attack around 8.30 PM tonight at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He was 93."

Ramesh Deo is known for his work in many Hindi and Marathi films. The veteran actor's journey in the film industry began by playing the character of a villain in the film Aarti. After that, there was no looking back for him. He went on to star in many films and delivered spectacular performances in each film. He is popularly known for films such as Anand, Mere Apne, Ghayal Once Again, Jolly LLB, Jeevan Mrityu and Aap Ki Kasam.

He worked with many stars such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinha, Dharmendra in his career spanning over 60 years. Apart from acting in films, he also featured in TV dramas. The veteran actor also produced feature films, turned a director and backed many TV serials. He is now survived by his actor wife Seema Deo, son Ajinkya Deo and Abhinay Deo.

Several celebrities including Sneha Wagh, Madhuri Dixit among others took to social media to mourn the demise. Madhuri Dixit wrote, "Saddened to hear the news of evergreen personality, Shri. Ramesh Deo ji. Condolences to the family. #RIP #RameshDeo sir." Sneha Wagh tweeted, "Rest in Peace #RameshDeo Ji. Your remarkable work has left a beautiful imprint on us. Long live your legacy!! Condolences to family and friends. Om Shanti."
