Varun Dhawan On How His Life Changed After Marriage With Natasha Dalal: ‘Our Clothes Get Mixed Up, I Try Wearing Jeans, Realise It's Hers'
Varun Dhawan reveals how life has changed after his wedding to his childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal
Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan got married to his childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal on January 24, 2021, in an intimate ceremony. Their wedding was an extremely private and close-knit affair with just family members and a few close friends in attendance due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, in a recent interview, the actor has opened up about his marriage with Natasha and revealed how his life has changed. Varun revealed that their “clothes get mixed up” in the wardrobe and this often leads to huge confusion.
Speaking to India today, the Student of the Year actor said, “Kya hota hain ki aapka jo cupboard hain, uske andar ladkiyon ke kapde aa jaate hain. Mistake se jeans nikalta hoon and I try wearing it and I see it's Natasha’s jeans. This happens a lot. The clothes get mixed up. Obviously, you're sharing your lives together. But it's totally okay.”
To note, Varun and Natasha have been friends since childhood. They both fell in love with each other during a music concert years later they completed their education. During his appearance on 'Koffee With Karan season 6' with Katrina Kaif, the Badrinath Ki Dulhania actor got candid about his relationship with Natasha and stated she has been very supportive of his career right from the beginning. Varun had said, “When I and Natasha are concerned, eventually after we get married and we are together and all that stuff… she has her own individuality and that is why I am with her. She has an own voice, which is super strong with things she wants to do and achieve in life and as her partner, that is something I want to support. She has been very supportive of my career since day one. I have known her since school. We were friends then. Since day one she has been supportive of my dreams. It has to be the same. From my side, I have to be supportive of her dreams. Eventually, as a couple, you want to evolve together.”
In terms of work, Varun Dhawan’s film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ hit the theatres yesterday. The family drama that also stars Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor, collected around Rs 9.28 crore on Day 1. He will next be seen in the horror-comedy ‘Bhediya’ with Kriti Sanon.
