Varun Dhawan On Alia Bhatt: She Is The Last Person I Will Take Relationship Advice From
Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt began their Bollywood journey together with Student Of The Year (2012). The two were rumoured to be dating at the start, but soon enough we got to know that Varun was in a steady relationship with Natasha Dalal. And it was revealed that Alia was in fact going steady with her SOTY co-star, Sidharth Malhotra. However, Varun and Alia have always remained the best of friends having worked together again in films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017).

While Varun and Natasha are going strong, Alia is currently dating Ranbir Kapoor. But do the good friends take relationship advice from each other? Varun spoke about it during a recent interview with Filmfare.

"She’s the last person I’ll take relationship advice from. One good thing about our friendship is that we don’t discuss those aspects of our lives with each other. Our discussions are around work because both of us are equally driven about our careers. But yes most of the time, we end up making fun of each other. The best thing is she helps me with my character. She does all the work. She cracks my character. She also gives me references. (Laughs) Until she doesn’t do that, there’s a lot of friction on the sets. Till that doesn’t happen, I’m not happy with her. If she doesn’t act out my scenes, she’s not doing her job as a co-star," said Varun.

So has their equation changed over the years? "We’re pretty much the same. As you do more films, the love and respect grows for each other. During Kalank I told Alia, ‘You have become old’.  I’ve seen her since she was so small yaar. Even she says that I’ve aged and my beard is growing faster," added Varun.

We are super excited to see them romance each other once again in Kalank. Also starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit, the film hits theatres on April 19, 2019.
