Varun Dhawan And Neetu Kapoor Test NEGATIVE For Coronavirus; To Resume Shoot Of Jug Jugg Jeeyo From December 19
After testing negative for COVID-19, Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor will fly back to Chandigarh to resume the shoot of Jug Jugg Jeeyo from December 19
Filming of multi-starrer Jug Jugg Jeeyo came to a sudden halt after director Raj Mehta along with cast members Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor were tested positive for COVID-19. Now as per reports in Mumbai Mirror all the three have been tested negative for the Novel Coronavirus and filming of the film is set to resume from December 19 in Chandigarh. As per reports after Varun, Neetu and Raj were tested positive all the places where they had filmed were sanitized.
Further reports state the crew working on the film was also put in isolation for safety purpose and will also resume the shoot in Chandigarh. The publication’s source was quoted saying, “All the places where the trio had filmed were sanitised following the protocols laid down by the state government. The crew stayed in isolation and now that the trio has been cleared, the team is set to resume shooting from December 19 in Chandigarh.” The makers plan to shoot the film till December 30 and be back in town for the New Year’s Eve.
While Neetu is left with a four-five days shoot, the rest of the crew will continue filming till December 30. The source adds, “During the quarantine period, they have devised a revised schedule and will be taking things easy on the set to ensure that the post-COVID fatigue does not take a toll.”
After Neetu was tested positive, she was flown back to town in an air ambulance; later the trio was isolated for 10 days. Now after all have recovered from the virus, the cast will fly back to Chandigarh on December 18, 2020. Riddhima sharing the news called her mother a COVID-19 warrior.
