Use This Man's Bald Head: Suchitra Krishnamoorthi LASHES Out At Bombay Shaving Co-Owner Over Prachi Nigam's 'Insensitive' Ad
Actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, renowned for her role as Shah Rukh Khan's co-star in the film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, recently made headlines for her scathing criticism of Bombay Shaving Company and its owner in light of a controversial advertisement featuring Uttar Pradesh Class 10 board topper Prachi Nigam. Prachi's exceptional academic achievement of scoring 98.5 per cent in the UP Class 10 board exams garnered widespread attention, but unfortunately, she faced cruel trolling regarding her appearance. Despite the outpouring of support from netizens, Bombay Shaving Co released an ad that sparked outrage, with the message directed at Prachi without her consent, stating, "Dear Prachi, They are trolling your hair today, they’ll applaud your AIR tomorrow."

Joining the chorus of dissent on Thursday, Suchitra did not hold back as she took aim at Shantanu Deshpande, the owner of Bombay Shaving Co. In a bold move, she shared a photo of Deshpande on her social media platform, calling him out for his baldness and asserting that Prachi Nigam was far more attractive. Suchitra questioned the company's ethical use of Prachi's name without legal authorization and emphasized that true intelligence and sensitivity cannot be externally cultivated in individuals like Deshpande.

Expressing her dismay at the vitriol directed at a teenage girl who had excelled academically due to her facial features, Suchitra highlighted the need for compassion and respect towards Prachi. She contrasted this with her admiration for a team that demonstrated integrity by refraining from exploiting the situation for profit, opting instead to convey a genuine message of support to Prachi without any ulterior motives.

Suchitra's outspoken stance against the insensitive advertisement and her defence of Prachi Nigam underscored the importance of upholding dignity and empathy in public discourse, especially when it comes to celebrating the achievements of young individuals like Prachi. Her words resonated as a call for accountability and ethical conduct in the realm of advertising and social media communication.
