Over the years, Bollywood has inspired one and all. Many people from across the world have developed a fondness for Hindi music as well. Apart from Indians performing on Bollywood numbers very often, we also see people from the West grooving to the beats of iconic beats from the Hindi film industry. Amidst the ongoing Tokyo Olympics 2020, a video of a team of swimmers from Israel performing on a Bollywood track is going viral on the internet. The athletes performed a part of their routine to Madhuri Dixit’s song Aaja Nachle at the Summer Games.

On Twitter, Collin D’cunha shared a video from the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympics.  Collin mentioned that a team from Israel performed artistic swimming at the Summer Games. The video shows the swimmers performing a fabulous routine, while swimming.

In the video, the swimmers are seen performing on Madhuri Dixit’s song Aaja Nachle from the film Aaja Nachle that was released in 2007. The song was sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. The song featuring Madhuri Dixit was choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant. D’Cunha tweeted, “Nach le Nach le …used by team Israel for #ArtisticSwimming at #Olympics2020 @MadhuriDixit #BollywoodInspiredOlympians #AajaNachle.”

Meanwhile, India has won a total of three medals at the ongoing Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Boxer Lovlina Borgohain won a bronze medal and Saikhom Mirabai Chanu won a silver in weightlifting at the Summer games. Mirabai Chanu got India the first medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Ace Badminton player PV Sindhu won a bronze medal for the country. Ravi Kumar Dahiya is also on his way to win a medal in wrestling. He has reached the men's freestyle 57kg final and has assured India its first wrestling medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
