Unfortunately, the man who gave us the gem is no more.
James Horner, known for his heart-tugging scores for Titanic, died yesterday in a plane crash in California.
The 61-year-old was piloting his aircraft when it crashed into a remote area about 60 miles north of Santa Barbara. His death was confirmed by his assistant Sylvia Patrycja.
Horner won the Oscar for original dramatic score for Titanic and another for original song for ‘My Heart Will Go On’.
He also bagged Academy Award nominations for original score for Aliens and Avatar. Horner also worked on Star Trek movies, Braveheart, A Beautiful Mind and Apollo 13.
