Tiger Shroff Extends Financial Help To A Former Crew Member Who Worked On His Debut Film Heropanti
Tiger Shroff comes to the rescue of a former crew member who was previously helped by his father Jackie Shroff long time ago
Film producer Vashu Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment has been under scrutiny for not paying fees to its cast and crew on three projects, including the much-anticipated Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Among those affected is Ravi Kumar, a 45-year-old focus puller, who has been struggling financially due to non-payment. Kumar faced a severe setback last year when he was involved in an accident that left him bedridden for eight months. Since his recovery, he has only been able to take on light work, and the little savings he had were exhausted by medical bills. He had been counting on the payment for his work on the unreleased film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, which he worked on in 2022. Amidst this financial strain, actor Tiger Shroff stepped in to provide much-needed assistance to Kumar. This act of kindness was rooted in a family connection. Kumar’s brother, Prasad, had worked on Jackie Shroff’s 1994 film, 1942: A Love Story, during which he fractured his hand on set. Jackie Shroff had then arranged for Prasad’s surgery. Following in his father’s footsteps, Tiger Shroff extended help to Kumar when he learned of his situation. Kumar, who had worked as a focus puller on Tiger’s debut film Heropanti, was deeply moved by this gesture. While he chose not to disclose the amount, it is reported to be in lakhs.
Kumar expressed his gratitude towards the Shroff family, noting that Tiger's mother, Ayesha Shroff, also reached out to him. He reflected on Tiger’s kindness, stating that even though Tiger might not remember Kumar's work on Heropanti, he still chose to help. This support has been a significant relief for Kumar, who has been struggling to find steady work since his accident.
On the professional front, Tiger Shroff was last seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, where he shared the screen with Akshay Kumar, Alaya F, Manushi Chhillar, and Sonakshi Sinha. He also has Baaghi 3 in the pipeline. Tiger’s gesture of helping Kumar highlights not only his professional success but also his compassionate nature, continuing a legacy of kindness and support started by his father.
