Salman Khan makes a terrific silver screen comeback with Tiger 3 which is out in theatres on the joyous occasion of Diwali. The film drew fervent crowds to cinemas across the country, all eager to witness the beloved actor in action. Nevertheless, the celebratory spirit took an unexpected turn as a group of fans ignited firecrackers within a cinema hall, adding an element of peril to the festive screening. Scenes from the theatre are going viral on the internet and we see complete chaos as fireworks in large numbers burst inside the movie hall when the screening of the film is on. As per early trade estimates from Sacnilk, Tiger 3 raked in Rs 44.50 crore on its opening day in India across all languages, boasting a 41.32 percent occupancy in Hindi screenings. Mumbai emerged as the top contributor, with Delhi NCR, Pune, and Bengaluru securing the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th positions, respectively. With an impressive first-day collection, Tiger 3 becomes Salman Khan's third-largest opener, following the 2019 period drama 'Bharat,' which amassed Rs 42.30 crore under the direction of Ali Abbas Zafar. The film also stars  Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi and has a special cameo from Shah Rukh Khan as well. With an impressive Diwali bumper opening, it will be interesting to see how the YRF film fares in the first week considering the conclusion of ICC ODI Cricket World Cup which might slightly affect its box office numbers.
