This Filmmaker Feels That Sara Ali Khan Is Made For Masala Films

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is uniting with Ranveer Singh for Rohit Shetty’s Simmba.

And guess what?

Even before the film has released, Rohit has said that he thinks Sara is truly a commercial actress.

While talking to Mid-Day, the director said, "When I met Sara for the first time, I realised she is a hardcore commercial heroine. She is made for masala films."

Well, not only this, Shetty also revealed that Sara bagged the role of a leading actress in Simmba, after she approached him.

He concluded, "Sara approached me saying she wanted to work with me. I thought she'd be perfect for Simmba. She'll match Ranveer's craziness because her character in the film is such."

Meanwhile, Sara’s Kedarnath has got a new lease of life after Ronnie Screwvala took over the reins and compensated former producers- KriArj, Bhushan Kumar and Balaji.

Confirming the news, Ronnie told a leading daily, “Kedarnath is a great love story set against the backdrop of the powerful true-life event that affected us all during the floods in 2013. It completely matches my vision of great stories that need to be told and I can’t wait to bring this story to the audiences early next year.”
