A robbery of Rs. 90,000 has taken place at veteran
actress Hema Malini’s Andheri godown. The godown was especially meant to keep
her artificial jewellery, costumes and props that she used often for her dance
shows and shoots. The reports further state that Hema’s domestic help had been
cleaning the godown since five days. So the Juhu police suspects that he is
behind this robbery.
Hema’s manager
has already filed a police complaint at Juhu Police station ever since they noticed that the belongings had
gone missing, they have been trying to reach the domestic help but his phone is
unreachable. In a statement to a leading daily, a police official said, "That's
when he found that a few antique statues, props used in the stage shows,
imitation jewellery and a few clothes have gone missing. The suspect has been
working with her for a long time.”
When the actress
was asked to comment on the same, she said, “Right now I do not want to comment
as it was done by our own staff. The items stolen were used in shoots and
shows."
You may recall that another robbery had taken place at the veteran actress' house way back in 2010 when
cash and jewellery worth Rs 80 lakh had gone missing from Hema’s Goregaon
residence.
