The Zoya Factor Trailer Review: Dulquer Salmaan’s Charm Combined With Sonam Kapoor’s 'Luck' Is Super Entertaining
Sonam Kapoor and South sensation Dulquer Salmaan have collaborated for director Abhishek Sharma’s The Zoya Factor. It is their first-ever collaboration and Dulquer’s second film in Bollywood after Karwaan. Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan had been putting up quirky videos for the past few days to create buzz for the trailer of the film and finally, the trailer of The Zoya Factor has hit the internet. Let’s say it was worth the wait.

The trailer of The Zoya Factor begins with the old footage of India winning the World Cup in 1983. There comes a new father played by Sanjay Kapoor who calls his new-born daughter Zoya, lucky for India. Fast forward in present, Zoya finds her life in complete limbo. Neither her personal nor professional life is on track. She then meets the Captain of the Indian cricket team played by Dulquer Salmaan and from here on, we lose our focus. Hey, don’t blame us Dulquer is too hot to grab all our attention. He even shows off his well-toned abs!

The story progresses with Zoya meeting the team India and somehow finds herself to be an integral part of it as they consider her as their lucky charm. She soon becomes The Zoya Devi. What happens next, only the film will tell.

The trailer has all the ingredients to be a hit. It is high on emotions, goofiness and it revolves around India’s love for cricket, nothing can get better than that. Sonam once again is doing what she does the best, being goofy and moppy! However, we are extremely impressed with Dulquer’s dialogue delivery in Hindi. Uff…his husky voice. Watch the trailer below:

The Zoya Factor makes it to the theatres on September 20, 1019. It is produced by Fox Star Studios and is based on a book called The Zoya Factor by Anuja Chauhan.
