Vivek Agnihotri is currently on a promotional spree for his new venture ‘The Vaccine War’. Now, the makers have finally released the trailer of his much-awaited film which has been making waves for a long time now. Fans were in for a surprise on September 12, 2023, as the makers dropped the film’s trailer. 

This movie is going to be based on the challenges faced during the development of the COVID vaccine during the outbreak of Corona and will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar after its theatrical run. The film stars Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, Sapthami Gowda, Pallavi Joshi, in the leading roles. 

Sharing the trailer via his social media handle, Vivek Agnihotri wrote, "PRESENTING:  The trailer of your film #TheVaccineWar.  Film releases on 28th Sept 2023. Pl bless us. Thanks.❤️"


Vivek Agnihotri released the first poster of his next feature on Saturday via X, previously known as Twitter, and he wrote: "Presenting: The first look of India's first ever Bio-science film #TheVaccineWar. Releasing worldwide on 28 September 2023.” 

Vivek has truly mastered the art of curating film based on socially enraging themes and he started off with The Tashkent Files and then the highly controversial The Kashmir Files, which emerged as a national phenomenon.

Earlier this month, filmmaker Vivek Aghnihotri's 'The Vaccine War' created history on Tuesday by becoming the first Indian movie to have a single launch at Times Square. The film's title song 'Shristhi se pehele', which consisted of Shlokas from Rigveda, describing the creation of the Universe was performed in the form of Kathak in New York.

Before the release of 'The Vaccine War' in India in September, special screenings of the film have been conducted in the US under the India for Humanity Tour. A pre-release of 'The Vaccine War' was hosted in New York to a full house. Welcome director Vivek Agnihotri and producer and actor Pallavi Joshi, reported ANI.
