The Good, Bad And Ugly Of Last Week- Janhvi Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Srishty Rode
Shocks, disappointments and joy- it was all happening in the 1st week of January. Time for you to ponder a while if you agree with my personal opinion
Janhvi Kapoor (GOOD):
Kudos to this 21-year-old for caring a damn about the comments on social media. In a recent interview, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor's daughter has said, "It used to really bother me. I started self-valuing on what they would say. But then, I realised it's virtual reality. Social media can mess you up."
Dipika Kakar (UGLY):
This on social media cannot be ignored. What can be more ugly than a mad-hatter threatening to pour acid on your face? Better face it, you violent man. She has won it and nothing will reverse it. You ought to be tracked down. Wonder what's the Mumbai Police and Cyber Crime Cell doing about this till now.
Katrina Kaif (BAD):
Bad for T-Series and Remo D'souza that Katrina Kaif could not allot time opposite Varun Dhawan to their dance film. The makers lost out on a big heroine. Salman's Bharat came in the way. Hota hai, moreover it's better to be honest, those who can't say 'No' in life cannot succeed.
Tina Dutta (GOOD):
I think women-beaters should be given a severe punishment by the law. Most females in our society do not complaint about their partners whom they're in an abusive relationship with. TV actress Tina Dutta (of Uttaran fame) spilled the beans on her abusive relationship with her boyfriend- a non-industry man, whom she had met through a common friend.
Kader Khan (BAD):
Sad that the senior actor-dialogue writer Kader Khan left us. May his soul rest in peace.
Ranveer Singh (GOOD):
The week belonged to Ranveer. Simmba is an out-n-out Ranveer film. God forbid if it hadn't clicked, the blame would have come on this fabulous actor. You know how we are, we would have found 5 reasons to collar him. Against all odds, he almost single-handedly not just drove the boat to the bank but also won the race.
Alia Bhatt (GOOD):
Loved the way she flew out to spend time with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh in the US. Rishi has been ailing for quite sometime now, and it is always comforting to have loving and caring people around. More the merrier.
Anushka Sharma (GOOD):
Strange it may sound to rake this up, but why is Anushka not being given credit for her husband Virat Kohli and his men's thumping victory in Australia. She was there for most of the time, wasn't she? You know what I mean! If we didn't take a minute to lambast her on social media when India lost in the past (on a few occasions) when she was in the stands, why can't we praise her now?
Surbhi Rana (GOOD):
This is sportsman spirit. This is maturity. This is not the violent India we are becoming. Surbhi Rana spoke EXCLUSIVELY to SpotboyE.com and said that she is aghast about the acid attack threat on Dipika and called out the Mumbai Police to speed up their investigation.
Srishty Rode (BAD):
Feel bad when relationships break. Rumours flew thick and fast that Rode's closeness to Rohit Suchanti had created the wedge, but her (ex)boyfriend Manish Naggdev and Rohit both chose to put it across that there was no truth to the loose talk. Really a case of smoke without fire?
