Taapsee Pannu has quite a few films in the pipeline. But it is interesting to know that the actress makes sure to take a small break before she jumps onto another role. Read to know why
Taapsee Pannu has emerged as a versatile actor in the Indian film industry. Over the past few years, she has been a part of many critically and commercially acclaimed films such as Manmarziyan, Pink, Badla, Mission Mangal and more. And she has a hoard of films lined up for release like Rashmi Rocket, Loop Lapeta, Dobaaraa and more. While the actress is on her toes shooting for one film after the other, it is definitely challenging to switch between the characters. How does she manage to do it so smoothly? It is interesting to know that she takes mandatory week-long breaks between the films.
To Times of India, she revealed, "The stress point is that I have to go through the projects and my roles in great detail before I start but that also sometimes messes up with my head. Most films and characters are intense, which is the reason I complete a film and definitely take a break, disconnect from it and then start on a new set. I only dive into things that I feel completely excited to jump into, and that gives me something new to explore. I have to be like a child with a new toy. Main bore ho jaati if I was doing the same thing repeatedly."
She also expressed gratitude that people think about her when there is something challenging to offer. "I mean, I should thank god that people come to me when they have something challenging on their hands. I also never thought I would do so many different films when I started off. When I look back, I feel if this didn’t happen, maybe I would have left out of boredom. When people show that confidence in my abilities to deliver, it gives me a rush," she said.
