T-Series Director Ajay Kapoor Resigns; Irrevocable Differences With Bhushan Kumar

After working with T-Series for 20 years, producer and director of T-Series has resigned from his post. Reason? Irrevocable differences with Chairman and Managing Director of T-Series, Bhushan Kumar.

Our well-placed sources inform us that there were issues brewing between the two for the past 6 months, which translated into innumerable meetings. However, after much to and fro, Ajay has finally called it quits.

In fact, things at the T-Series office are such that he wouldn’t serve notice and leave the organisation with immediate effect, which means today might be his last day.

Ajay’s decision will definitely come as a huge blow to Bhushan as one of the two pillars of the company -- the other being President Marketing Media and Publishing, Vinod Bhanushali – has fallen.

At the time of going online a long meeting between Ajay and Bhushan is taking place in the latter’s cabin. And believe you us, a miracle is required to pull him back.

Ajay has produced movies like Ready, Tum Bin, Bhool Bhulaiya, Roy, Bhootnath Returns, Baby, Airlift, Tum Bin 2, Hate Stories , Raaz Reboot. Other films like Wajah Tum Ho, Raabta, Chef, Noor, Simran, Takadum, Baadshao and lots more are in the pipe line.
