Swara Bhasker’s Father Pens A Long Emotional Letter On Her Birthday; Calls Her A Box Of Happiness And Joy
Actor Swara Bhasker is celebrating her 33rd birthday today in Goa. It’s a working birthday for the lady but still her friends and family tried to make it special for her amidst the ruthless COVID-19 pandemic. However, her parents couldn’t make it to the celebration due to the lockdown, hence, her father penned a long heart-touching birthday letter that made Swara a little sentimental. The same was shared on Swara’s Instagram account, saying how 2021 became the second year running that they were not able to greet her in person. 

Her father’s note started with, “Greetings on your birthday. Given the COVID cross that we all bear in different ways, this will be the second year running that we, as parents, will not be able to greet you in person. Mm will miss not being able to hug her ‘Shona rani’ - both before and after the cake is cut. And yes, I know how uncomfortable that makes you- eve as you have protested since age 10, saying: ‘Take it easy - I am not a child anymore.’” Her father calls a box of happiness and joy that came into their life. He even recalled the time when Swara had to leave New Delhi for Mumbai to pursue her dream of acting. “I recall that vignette of our saying goodbye to you at the New Delhi railway station, with a lump in my throat, as the Rajdhani pulled out.” 

In the note, Swara’s father said that he has set a Google alert to track her on social media. He even mentioned Swara’s foray into social-political activism, her cyber trolling, personal attacks that she faced in recent years. 


Concluding his emotional note, he wrote, “Swara, we are proud of you- for what you are and what yous and for in the public domain. As a father, I am grateful to you for teaching me some valuable lessons.”
