Swara Bhaskar Is Not A Part Of Akshay Kumar Starrer Gold
Swara Bhaskar speaks exclusively to SpotboyE.com, reacting to reports this morning which suggested that she has been signed up for Reema Kagti’s next

woke up this morning to reports that she has been signed opposite Akshay Kumar
in Reema Kagti’s next, titled Gold. Well it was news to her too.
Since then, many
media outlets have followed suit and announced Swara as Akshay’s leading lady.
But SpotboyE.com can tell you that the reports are untrue.
The actress spoke
to us to clarify her involvement in the much-hyped project. Swara was
approached for Gold but she politely turned down the offer.
“While I would
love to work with Akshay Sir who I am a fan of and with Reema Kagti whose work
I admire deeply, sadly the fact is, I am not at all a part of Gold. I know it
is a great script and I wish the team well for the shoot,” said Swara.
The film is a
period drama revolving around India’s first win at the Olympics in 1948.

into the past, Swara’s next Anaarkali Of Aarah, delves into the hard realities
of the present.

In an interview with SpotboyE.com, Swara had said: “The film is about this girl called Anarkali who is a small star in Aarah. She is leading her usual life until something happens that shatters illusions she has about her life and exposes the contradictions of our society which idolises and glamourise a small town girl into a desi, local star because of her songs but uses the same songs to condemn her when things go wrong with her.”
