Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide: Actor’s Death Case Will NOT Be Transferred To CBI Confirms Maha Home Minister Anil Deshmukh- VIDEO
A while back, we reported Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh called for an urgent meeting of Mumbai Police's top officials over Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. As per an earlier report in Republic, the move comes into the light after witnessing the growing pressure on CBI to investigate SSR’s case and also Patna Police's presence in the case. Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case intensified after actor’s father Krishan Kishor Singh lodged a complaint against girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, and 5 others, including her father Indrajit, brother Showikk and ex-manager Shruti Modi in Patna.

Now Maha Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has confirmed that Mumbai Police are investigating the case closely. He further stated that Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case will not be transferred to Central Bureau Of Investigation. While leaving the meeting, HM addressed the media and confirmed that as opposed to the demand, the case will not be handed over to CBI. Watch the video below:

Rhea Chakraborty has been booked under section 340, 342, 380, 406, 420, 306 of the IPC, including abetment of suicide. Out of many allegations put forth by Sushant's father, the FIR copy also states, “They asked my son to leave his residence saying there were ghosts which impacted Sushant's mind. Later Sushant stayed at a resort along with Rhea's family. They kept saying that Sushant needs medical treatment as he has some mental issues.” The FIR also claims that Rhea limited his contact with his family and took out 15 crores out of 17 crores from SSR’s bank account.
