Sushant Singh Rajput’s Sister Shweta Singh Kirti Says ‘Don’t Malign Sushant’s Image’ After Their Father Seeks Ban On Films Depicting Late Actor’s Life
Yesterday, it was reported that late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s father Krishna Kishore Singh moved the Delhi High Court to seek a ban on the release of any films based on Sushant’s life. Bar And Bench reported that Sushant’s father’s plea stated that any film depicting Sushant’s personal life will influence the witness in the cases, and also change the public perception. Now, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti also shared this news, and reiterated it in her tweets, asking people to not let anyone malign Sushant’s image.

Shweta Singh Kirti first retweeted Advocate Vikas Singh’s tweet that read, “#Delhi high court issues notice on petition filed by SSR’s father seeking ban on release of any movie on his life.” Further, in another tweet, Shweta wrote, “To reiterate the obvious “Any production, or depiction of the private life of Sushant Singh Rajput is a blatant and willful breach of fundamental right to privacy which cannot be taken away without the prior approval of his legal heir.”” In another tweet, she wrote that everyone should ensure Sushant’s image isn’t maligned and remains pious and pure, just the way he was.

“Let’s all work towards keeping our dearest Sushant’s image pious and pure, exactly the way he was. Let’s take an oath that we will never let anyone malign his personality and what he stood for! #DontMalignSushantsImage #JusticeForSushantSinghRajput,” wrote Shweta Singh Kirti.

Meanwhile, as the National film Awards were announced in March, Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore won in the category of Best Hindi Film. Shweta Singh Kirti remembered her brother in an emotional post and wrote, “'Chhichhore' wins National Film Award.” Bhai, I know you are watching, but I wish you were there to receive the award. Not a single day passes when I don’t feel proud of you. Folded hands #ChhichhoreBagsNationalAward #SushantOurHero."
