Flipkart has been receiving immense flak as a T-shirt on the online shopping platform slyly referred to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death for a quote. The round-neck white T-shirt for men with the late actor SSR captioned ‘Depression is like Drowing’. This did not go well with the netizens and this spiked the anger among Twitterati. 

Offended by the message, netizens said that the late actor was not a depression patient, instead, he was killed by the 'Bollywood mafia'. Many netizens filed grievances at FlipKart and one Twitterati even served a notice against the online shopping platform for selling T-shirts with a misleading quote. 


She wrote, "I will serve notice to @Flipkart tonight (for approving a material which is defaming a deceased) as a common and responsible citizen. & BW Killed SSR DreamProjects TL participants."




Meanwhile, one Twitter user wrote, "Country has not yet come out of the shock of Sushant's tragic death. We will keep raising our voice for justice. Flipkart should be ashamed of this heinous act and should apologize that such an incident will not be repeated again.#BoycottFlipkart"

Sushant Singh Rajput, who is widely known for playing Manav in Pavitra Rishta, was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai on 14th June 2020. He was 34. His death was investigated from several angles and a drug case was linked to his demise. The drugs-related investigation led to the arrest of Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother, Showik and they were granted bail.
