Sushant Singh Rajput Demise: Mumbai Police To Probe ‘Professional Rivalry’ Angle Behind His Death, Says Maharashtra Home Minister
Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh tweeted that while post mortem report says Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself, the angle of professional rivalry will also be probed
A day after the sudden, shocking demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, there have been many stories and rumours flying around about the cause of death or what led to it. Even though the first report that came in suggested that it was a suicide, many still believe that there could be more to it. The provisional post mortem report revealed that the cause of his death was asphyxia due to hanging, as confirmed by Abhishek Trimukhe, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), while speaking to ANI.
It was being reported that a few family members of the actor demanded a CBI inquiry, and refused to believe Sushant died of suicide. Now, Maharashtra home Minister , Anil Deshmukh gave an update on the case by tweeting that there are media reports that he suffered from clinical depression due to professional rivalry, and so the Mumbai Police will also be investigating with this angle. He tweeted, “While the post mortem report says actor Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself, there are media reports that he allegedly suffered from clinical depression because of professional rivalry. Mumbai Police will probe this angle too.”
Yesterday, a report in Navbharat Times claimed that Sushant’s maternal uncle demanded a CBI probe, alleging that it wasn’t suicide, but murder.
