Sushant Singh Rajput's demise has put Bollywood in the spotlight. Netizens are revolting against the nepotism that prevails in the industry. Sushant was said to be suffering from depression for the past six months. Now, people are bashing Bollywood celebs and stating that they have double standards as they left him alone. Producers like Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, Aditya Chopra, and Salman Khan are being blamed for not supporting an outsider like Sushant. Meanwhile, a candle light march was held in Patna.

Sushant hailed from Patna and he shifted his base to Mumbai to make a career in Bollywood. He started his acting career by playing the role of Manav in TV serial Pavitra Rishta. The show was a super hit and he went on to star in a film called Kai Po Che. Now that he is no more, people are protesting against Bollywood's big producers and calling justice for Sushant by demanding to boycott nepotism.

A candle-light march was held in Patna, pictures of which have made it to the internet. People wearing masks due to Coronavirus are seen holding placards that read, 'Boycott Nepotism', 'Boycott Karan Johar' and more. However, no social distancing is being observed despite Government's advisory.


Meanwhile, a case has been filed against Bollywood producers and filmmakers, Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ekta Kapoor and actor Salman Khan in Bihar Court. In this case, advocate  Sudhir Kumar Ojha, who filed teh complaint said, "I have filed a case against 8 people including Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Salman Khan & Ekta Kapoor under Sections 306, 109, 504 & 506 of IPC in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case in a court in Muzaffarpur, Bihar," as reported by ANI.
