Sushant Singh Rajput died due to suicide on June 14, 2020. The actor hanged himself at his Bandra residence. The news was broken after his house help informed the cops about the same. According to reports in the media, the actor was undergoing treatment for depression, and medicines were also found at his Bandra residence. His last rites were conducted at Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle on June 15, 2020, after his family arrived from Patna. Now extending her condolences and praying for the departed soul, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan posted an Instagram story.

While she prayed for the departed soul for it to rest in peace, she paid condolences to the family and his loved ones by praying to the almighty to give them the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss. “Rest in peace Sushant. Prayers and Strength to your family and loved one." Today the late actor’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti put up a message on her social networking account of the actor’s ashes being immersed in Ganga. Pictures and videos of the same have been circulated on the internet since afternoon.
