The word ‘Nepotism’ became a rage on social media ever since Kangana Ranaut sparked the debate on Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan. The actress, on multiple occasions, have expressed her disappointment and called out people for treating outsiders badly. Today, a throwback video of Sushant Singh Rajput who passed away after ending his life by hanging himself on June 14, talking about nepotism is going viral on the internet. The video is now circulating on social media after netizens along with some filmmakers are calling out ‘Big industry people’ for their double standards and hypocrisy.

The reason behind Sushant taking such a drastic step was depression, there are reports where it is reported he was battling with depression which made him take this step. Along with fans, everyone from the Bollywood industry was mourning over his death and was sending heartfelt notes for him. Amidst all this, fans are really furious to see the hypocrisy that the celebs are doing right now for Sushant’s death. Hence, the video of him speaking on Nepotism, he told in one of the award functions, he told, “Nepotism can coexist and nothing would happen but at the same time if you deliberately don't allow right talents to come up then there's a problem, then the whole structure of the industry would collapse one day but till then its fine and nepotism can coexist with all the kinds of people at the same time. And then they will be competing with each other and they would raise a performance.”

Ace filmmaker Karan Johar said that he blamed himself for not keeping in touch with him as he wrote, “I blame myself for not being in touch with you for the past year..... I have felt at times like you may have needed people to share your life with...but somehow I never followed up on that feeling...will never make that mistake again...we live in very energetic and noisy but still very isolated times ...some of us succumb to these silences and go within...we need to not just make relationships but also constantly nurture them....Sushants unfortunate demise has been a huge wake up call to me ...to my level of compassion and to my ability to foster and protect my equations.....I hope this resonates with all of you as well....will miss your infectious smile and your bear hug .”

Not only KJo, Alia Bhatt too tweeted her condolence for actor’s family and currently, the two are trending on Twitter where netizens are bashing them for their act.
