After the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14, every aspect of his life came under the spotlight. While the federal agencies are still looking into the case even though reportedly AIIMS has ruled out the murder angle, the mysterious and tragic demise has prompted a few producers and filmmakers to make films on the chronicles of his life. In fact, reportedly two biopics were said to be in the making and one out of them even unveiled the first look of the film, titled, Shashank starring Sachin Tiwari. However, according to the latest reports in BollywoodHungama, it is stated that it is unlikely that either of the proposed Sushant biopics will ever get made.
Talking about the movie, earlier, in a media interaction, Sushant's father KK Singh's lawyer Vikas Singh said without the consent of his family, no films, series or books can be made on the actor. He said, "Sushant Singh Rajput's father & sister have decided that no film/serial/book should be written/made without the expressed consent of his father & without the script being shown to him. If anyone goes against it, they will do it at their own peril."
After the first look poster of Shashank was released on social media, even Sushant's sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared her disappointment and asked everyone to boycott the film and people who are promoting it.
Meanwhile, after AIIMS ruled out homicide, the Dil Bechara actor's family is not very pleased with the latest development and filed a complaint against AIIMS doctors for allegedly leaking Sushant’s forensic analysis report.
