Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Salman Khan Will NOT Be Summoned By Mumbai Police - REPORTS
As per the latest reports, Salman Khan won't be summoned by Mumbai Police to record his statement in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case
Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, 2020. The actor did not leave behind a suicide note, and hence, mystery prevails over what led him to take such a drastic step. Reportedly, he was suffering from depression and was undergoing treatment for the same for the past six months before his demise. The Mumbai Police is doing a thorough investigation by recording statements of family, friends, colleagues and others. Recent reports had it that Salman Khan too will be summoned by the police. However, these reports are false.
As per TOI, Salman Khan will not be called by the police to record his statement in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. As per the portal, the DCP has rubbished these reports stating that the superstar will not be called by the cops. Earlier, it was filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who was called by the police for investigation. As per a report in RepublicWorld.com, SLB was asked 30-35 questions about the project he was supposed to do with Sushant, but sadly, it did not happen.
Apart from the filmmaker, Sushant Singh Rajput's rumoured girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was also interrogated by the police. His good friend Sandip Ssingh and roommate Siddharth Pithani were also spotted at the Bandra Police Station. Others like Sushant's Dil Bechara co-star Sanjana Sanghi, YRF's casting director Shanoo Sharma and talent management agency head Reshma Shetty were questioned by the cops as well.
