Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Rhea Chakraborty’s Lawyer Satish Maneshinde On NCB Charge Sheet In Drugs Case; Says ‘We Will Have The Last Laugh’
Yesterday, it was reported that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has filed a charge sheet in the drug probe linked with Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. According to a report in ANI, the NCB filed the charge sheet in a Special NDPS Court, and that Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and others had been named. The report stated that more than 12,000 pages in hard copy and about 50,000 pages in digital format were submitted in court by the NCB. Now, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has reacted to this, and said that the 12000-page charge sheet was expected.

Satish Maneshinde said that this case has no ‘substance’ if Rhea Chakraborty isn’t ‘charged’. He said, “All efforts of NCB have been directed towards Rhea Chakraborty to somehow rope her in. The entire amount of 'narcotic substances recovered' against 33 Accused are nothing compared to what even a constable in Mumbai Police or Narcotics Cell or the Airport Customs or other agencies recover from one raid or trap. The entire NCB from top to bottom was engaged in unearthing drug angle in Bollywood.”

Satish Maneshinde further questioned why there is hardly any material against the known faces who were summoned during the investigations. “Either the allegations were false or only God knows the Truth. The charge sheet is a damp squib standing on the foundation of Inadmissible Evidence and Statements recorded under section 67 of the NDPS Act even after the Supreme Court Judgement in Toofan Singh Judgement” he said.

He said that without Rhea Chakraborty being charged, this case has no substance. “We will have the Last Laugh. Satya Mev Jayate,” said Satish Maneshinde. ALSO READ: Support For Rhea Chakraborty Grows In The Industry After Chehre Blackout -EXCLUSIVE
