Sushant Singh Rajput Death: NCB To Record The Statement Of SSR's Cook Dipesh Sawant – Reports
The probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case took a major turn when a drug angle came to fore. After the Enforcement Directorate (ED) reportedly found some suspicious conversations related to drugs carried out between Rhea Chakraborty and friends, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) got involved and churned out some explosive and massive facts around the case. The latest inputs in this drug angle suggest that now NCB will record the statement of Sushant Singh Rajput's cook in connection to the case, as reported by India TV. It is said that the cook, Dipesh Sawant's role is that of a 'witness' and he will be questioned, and his statement will be recorded by the agency on September 5.

Yesterday, there were reports that Rhea Chakraborty brother Showik Chakraborty has admitted to NCB that the drugs were procured for his sister and actress. A confession from Showik was made to the Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB). Reportedly, Showik Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput's house manager Samuel Miranda were arrested by the NCB after raiding their residences and interrogating them for long hours. Reacting to Showik and Samuel’s arrest, SSR’s father KK Singh’s Lawyer Vikas Singh said that this just a tip of the iceberg.

Meanwhile, reportedly, on September 2 and 3, NCB nabbed alleged drug peddlers Zaid Vilatram and Kaizan Ebrahim while Abbas Lakhani and Karan Arora were arrested on August 27-28. On the other hand, alleged drug peddler Basit Parihar was also interrogated. They have also been taken to the Sion hospital for the medical test before presenting them in the court.
