In a significant development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Times Now reported that SSR’s viscera sample was not properly preserved. Times Now reported that there are some signs of negligence by the Mumbai Police or the medical board, in regards to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem report, that have come forward. Days before the crucial AIIMS forensic report, reports state that SSR’s viscera sample was not properly preserved. It was reported that the forensic team at AIIMS has received only 20% of the viscera collected. As per the reports, very less quantity of SSR’s viscera sample was obtained and it was degenerated.

According to the report, the Mumbai Police officials and authorities at Cooper hospital are to be blamed for the negligence. The report states that 75% of the viscera collected during the post-mortem was already used by the Kalina forensic labs in Mumbai. As per the report, the viscera samples collected were not up to the required standards.

Meanwhile, with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probing the actor’s death, a major part of the investigation relies on the report that will be shared by the forensic team at AIIMS. On the other hand, apart from the CBI, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) are also probing SSR’s demise. So far, Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, and a few others have been arrested, in connection to the drugs angle in SSR death case.
