Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Late Actor’s Family Likely To Move The Bombay HC After Rhea Chakraborty’s FIR
This morning, Mumbai Police filed an FIR against Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Priyanka Singh, Meetu Singh, Delhi-based doctor Tarun Kumar of Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and others for giving the late actor medicine without consultation based on Rhea Chakraborty’s complaint filed last evening. A TOI report suggested, Bandra Police Station registered the case against SSR’s family under sections of IPC and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. This afternoon, Rhea was summoned for the 3rd time by NCB officials.

According to a latest report in Times Now, Sushant Singh Rajput’s family is likely to move the Bombay High Court against the FIR filed by Bandra Police based on Rhea’s complaint. Earlier reacting to Rhea’s complaint, SSR’s family lawyer had called her allegations false, while Shweta Singh Kirti had called her FIR ‘fake.’ Reacting to the same SSR’s family lawyer had asked why Rhea didn’t make the allegations during the interrogation.

Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde released a statement and said, “Rhea Chakraborty has set the Criminal Law in motion by filing her complaint with Bandra Pstn. The Cocktail of Illegally Administered Medicines and Drugs may have lead to SSRs suicide on 14th June 2020. His sisters need to be answerable to the investigators and God.”
